Marketing Officer (Events)

Alyssa Cayasso is a Marketing Officer (Events) at the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism. She first joined the department as an intern in January 2023 and transitioned into a full-time role in October 2023, where she coordinates and delivers events that showcase the Cayman Islands as a premier travel destination.

In her role, Alyssa works closely with on-island partners to enhance guest experiences through engaging events and strategic partnerships. She also supports the FAM team in executing on-island events, ensuring seamless experiences for visiting industry stakeholders.

Alyssa earned her B.A. in International Hospitality Management (Cum Laude) with a specialization in Event Management from Saint Leo University. Her professional background includes experience in luxury hospitality at The Ritz-Carlton, as well as roles in corporate administration and customer service.

She is passionate about creating meaningful experiences, bringing fresh ideas to projects, and thriving in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
