Marzeta Bodden

Deputy Director, Tourism Product Development

Marzeta Bodden is the Deputy Director of Tourism Product Development at the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism, where she leads initiatives to enhance the destination’s offerings and improve the visitor experience. With over 20 years of experience across aviation, tourism, education, financial services, and government, Marzeta has worked in private, non-profit, and public sector roles, including positions at Cayman Airways and the offshore law firm Appleby. Her entrepreneurial drive led her to found Cayman Food Tours, a company through which she shared the history, culture, and culinary heritage of the Cayman Islands with over 3,000 visitors.

 Marzeta is passionate about empowering the next generation of leaders. Through her work with Junior Achievement Cayman Islands, she has helped prepare over 10,000 young people for success in a global economy. Her commitment to community and nation-building is reflected in her work for national initiatives such as Celebrate Cayman, her involvement in high-profile projects like the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics and TEDxSevenMileBeach, and her contributions during the COVID-19 pandemic, where she provided policy and communications support to the Premier and Cabinet.

Outside of her professional role, Marzeta is an active member of the Rotary family, holding various leadership positions at the national and district levels. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Cayman Connection and the Cayman Islands Civil Service Co-operative Credit Union. Marzeta holds a Master of Science in Marketing Management from the University of Surrey and a dual Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from Florida International University. A certified Project Management Professional (PMP)®, Marzeta's expertise spans business development, strategic marketing, project management, and leadership development.
