Events Marketing Supervisor
Meet Alyssa, a seasoned marketing and events professional with more than 17 years in the Cayman Islands tourism industry. As Events Marketing Supervisor with the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism, she leads the planning and execution of signature on-island activations, including the International Scuba Diving Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and other high-profile events that celebrate Cayman’s culture, hospitality, and global reach. Her role also sees her collaborating with on-island partners to create memorable experiences for visitors and supporting familiarisation trips that highlight the destination’s unique appeal.
Alyssa began her career with Cayman Airways as a Group Reservations Specialist before joining the Department of Tourism in 2012. Since then, she has grown into a trusted leader in stakeholder engagement, event strategy, and customer service excellence. She holds an Associate Degree in Social Studies, a Certificate in Travel, Tourism and Hospitality, and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s in Marketing with a minor in Graphic Design from Southern New Hampshire University.
Beyond her professional achievements, Alyssa is a proud full-time mom of four, balancing her career and studies with family life. Her ability to blend creativity, dedication, and resilience shines through both in the events she delivers and in the connections she builds with colleagues, partners, and the wider community.
