Operations Administrator

Racquel James-Weise joined the Department of Tourism in February 2023 as an Operations Administrator on the Finance and Administration team. Racquel brings a wealth of skills and experience in Office Operations, Legal Secretary, Project Management, and Administration. Racquel leads the procurement processes and the general day-to-day operations for the Department.

Before joining the Department of Tourism, she worked at the Public Works Department as an Administrative Officer, where she wore many hats in various aspects of her Administrative role, including Registrar, Event Planner, Data Processor, and Administrative Assistant to the Training and Development Team. She has experience in office management and has also worked as a Marketing Operations Assistant for 4 years, where she developed her skills in Marketing Operations and Events coordination experience. Racquel also spent 7 years in various roles within the legal industry.

Racquel recently successfully completed the ILM Level 3 Leadership and Management and APMG Agile Project Management Certifications.
