CIDOT Sponsors Floodlit Rugby Sevens Tournament

The Cayman Islands Department of Tourism were proud sponsors of Rosslyn Park Rugby Club’s ‘Floodlit Rugby Sevens’ tournament in south-west London on a warm summer evening last month. As part of a marketing partnership to reach our target audience to promote the Cayman Islands, the event was a success, with over 2,000 people attending to cheer on their local teams.  Cayman Islands branding included pitch banners, digital screens with promotional videos, name-checks on the commentary, and best of all, one team was sporting a branded Cayman Islands rugby kit. Pre and post-digital marketing to their database made sure club members knew all about the incredible experiences available on the island. They also had the opportunity to enter our competition to win flights. At the event, the London office hosted media and key travel industry people with the opportunity of talking to them about the Cayman Islands.
