Quotes:
Deputy Premier and Tourism Minister, the Hon Moses Kirkconnell
“I hope that we will become re-energized by last year’s success and more determined than ever to ensure our targets for growth are achieved or exceeded. Doing so will entail raising the bar to ensure we continue to attract the right mix of visitors to give us the biggest return on our investments. It means thinking up more creative ways to manage visitor flows to flatten seasonal peaks and valleys. And it also means striking the right balance between investing in established markets verses emerging ones”.
Director of Tourism, Mrs Rosa Harris
“The Caribbean marketplace is increasingly competitive and the Cayman Islands must continue to be innovative and strategic thought leaders to stay ahead of the competition. We will continue to attract and retain visitation to the Cayman Islands by developing and implementing sustainable policies and initiatives in collaboration with all stakeholders for the benefit of our people”.
