  • Kimberly McLean

    Deputy Director, Finance and Administration

    Kimberly McLean is the Deputy Director, Finance & Administration. She joined the Department of Tourism in July 2020 bringing with her years of experience in the fields of finance and accounting. Kimberly is responsible for leading the Finance & Administration unit to achieve their mission and goals. She provides comprehensive management of all the Finance & Administration affairs and provides financial advice on the department’s financial status as well as assists with compliance with the PMFL and Procurement laws and regulations.
     
    Before joining the Department of Tourism, Kimberly held the position of Deputy Chief Financial Officer at the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Financial Services. She also worked for a leading fund administration company and a Big 4 accounting firm where she learnt a wealth of skills and knowledge in the financial sector. Academically, Kimberly has a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology, an MBA, and is a Certified Public Accountant.  

  • Georgette Bodden

    Manager, Budget and Reporting

    Georgette Bodden, Manager for Budget and Reporting, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and has been employed with the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism since April 2011. Prior to employment with the department, Georgette worked as an Accounts Officer in the Ministry of Employment, Youth Sports and Culture, a Financial Accountant with the Health Regulatory Services, and as a Staff Accountant with Rothstein Kass just to name a few. Since commencing employment with the Cayman Islands Government in 2002, Georgette’s various positions and years of experience afforded her numerous opportunities to learn the ins and outs of the Government’s financial processes. This knowledge has contributed to her success as the Budget and Reporting Manager where she prepares and manages the budget and expenditure activity for the department.

  • Schelita Corpus

    Accounts Receivable Supervisor

    Schelita Corpus has been employed with the Department of Tourism for over 21 years. She currently works in the capacity of Accounts Receivable Supervisor for the Finance and Administration Unit. In this role, she is primarily responsible for overseeing all accounts receivable functions and getting hands-on with the inspection and audit of records as well as the collection of tourism-related taxes and fees. One of her greatest accomplishments is the revamping the Accounts Receivable division and its processes.  Prior to joining the Department, Schelita worked in the banking industry, bringing over 10 years of experience to her current role. She loves being a part of a strong team and aspires to one day become a manager within the Department of Tourism.

  • Kim Berry

    Accounts Payable Supervisor

    Kim Berry holds the title of Accounts Payable Supervisor and has the primary responsibility of overseeing the Department’s accounts payable functions. She started with CIDOT as a temp and later held the position of Accounts Officer before being promoted to her current role within the Finance and Administration Unit. She is extremely proud to have been recognized by the Department for her hard work and dedication to her job. 

    Kim has been employed with the Department of Tourism for 14 years and brings 8 years of prior experience in the finance industry to her role. She is currently working towards earning a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance at the International College of the Cayman Islands.

  • Tisha Davidson

    Account Officer (Payable)

    Tisha Davidson joined the Department of Tourism in October 2021 as an Accounts Officer on the Payables team and brings with her a wealth of skills and experience in Finance and Banking.

    Prior to joining the Department of Tourism, she worked at an offshore law firm for 4 years as a Finance Administrator where she wore many hats in the various aspects of Finance, such as, Receivables, Payables, Billing and Client Accounting. She has experience in implementing processes to increase workflow and overall efficiencies. She also worked as a Finance Support Assistant for 2 years where she developed her skills in Accounts Payable and spent 9 years in various roles in the banking industry.
     
    Having successfully completed the introductory certificate in the ACCA Foundations in Accountancy, she is currently completing the Advanced Accounting Technician Certification as a short term achievement and will complete her professional accounting designation in the near future.

  • Wendy Callender

    Accounts Officer (Receivable)

    Wendy Callender has been employed with the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism for 29 years. She joined the Department as a Clerical Officer and later worked her way up to the position of Executive Officer. Wendy now works in the capacity of Accounts Officer (Receivable) for the Finance and Administration Unit. Her current role involves the collection of Tourism Accommodation Taxes, hotel and licensing fees, and other departmental revenues. Wendy completed an Introduction to Accounts course at the International College of the Cayman Islands and she aspires to take more courses in the future. She genuinely enjoys the details of her day-to-day work at the Department of Tourism – just as much she loves reading a good Christian fiction novel. 

  • Michael Gardner

    Accounts Officer (Receivable)

    Michael Gardener joined the Department of Tourism in 2008 and currently holds the title of Accounts Officer (Receivable) for the Finance and Administration Unit. His duties include the collection of tourism-related taxes and fees as well as the inspection and audit of records.

    Prior to becoming a part of the CIDOT team, Michael worked for the Life of Jamaica Insurance Company as a paralegal and the Cayman Islands Health Services Authority as a Registration and Admissions Manager. 

    Michael completed a professional course in debt collection at the University of Florida, a financial accounting course at the International College of the Cayman Islands (ICCI), and has a degree in Supervising and Management from the University of West Indies. 

    While Michael brings over 25 years’ experience in the Accounting field, he asserts that working at the Department of Tourism is one of the most fulfilling experiences he’s encountered. He is proud to be a part of a team that takes pride in providing exemplary customer service and being Íš’Caymankind’.
